Students can apply online by filling up the Online Application Form. The students are first required to obtain the DD for Rs.1000.00, towards advance deposit (Students can opt any method of payment mentioned below). For the admitted students, this advance deposit will be converted to caution deposit which will be refunded at the end of the course. This advance deposit will not be refunded for a selected candidate who does not join the course.

The students are required to fill the details with regards to the DD/Journal Number, Date and amount. The students are requested to note down their registration number allotted after pressing the "Submit" button and forward the demand draft mentioning their name, their online registration number and course code (i.e.;), on the back side of the DD. Online registrations not containing the advance deposit details will not be considered for processing.

Print out of the application form and Demand Draft / Counterfoil of online payment (mention the name of the student, name of the course applied for [ie;: PG Diploma in VLSI & Embedded Hardware Design] and contact number on the back side of the DD), should be sent to

The name of the course applied for (i.e.PG Diploma in VLSI & Embedded Hardware Design) should be super scribed on the top of the envelope in which the application form is forwarded.


(Any 1 of 3 options given below may be used to pay the fees)

  1. Demand Draft to be drawn in favor of Director, NIELIT, Payable at State Bank of India, Calicut NIT Branch (2207). The DD should reach here before the last date to apply.
  2. Using the Pay in Slip available in our web site (Pay in slip) , through any branch of SBI (where this format is accepted). The original counterfoil should reach here before due date.
  3. The fees can be paid through the SBI Collect Payment Gateway in SBI Online.

    Select State of Corporate/Institution as Kerala
    Select Type of Institution Educational Institutions and click on Go button
    Select Educational Institutions Name as NIELIT and click Submit button
    Select Payment Category as Course Fee
    Enter all the fields including amount payable and follow the instructions

  4. The fees can be paid directly into our account from any bank where core banking facility is available. The details required for direct payment are as given below.

The depositor should obtain the UTR Number/Journal No from the branch while depositing cash directly into our account. Depositor should also obtain the counterfoil duly filled up and signed by the staff with seal of the bank through which the amount was deposited. The counterfoil in original carrying the UTR/Journal Number issued by the bank must be produced by the applicant on the day of counseling to our accounts department for reconciliation and the receipt issued by the accounts department must be kept safe.
